Paging Doc McELJT

Paging Doc McELJT....Paging Doc McELJT please report to mommy's room sissy needs a check up...ARNS stayed home today thanks to a fever and her throat hurting. So after lunch ELJT started playing with sissy telling her to open her mouth and she would look in it for frogs. She stuck one of her tractor trailers and stuck it in there and said no frogs sissy. A minute later she looks in sissy's ear and says eww buggies!! Tried to stick the trailer in her ear and pull it out once she did that she went to the trash can and said eww buggies in the trash. ELJT also tried to pick ARNS's nose. After all of that she told sissy that she needed to brush her teeth. To finish the check up she made sissy Coke and a hamburger. She is such a good doctor. She takes care of me when I am down with a migraine too.

Let it Go...

So like any toddler or preschooler E has fallen in love with watching the same movies over and over again. As you can tell by the title of this post she loves Frozen. Well that's one of the movies she loves. She loves all the How to Train your Dragon movies also. But because Frozen has songs she can sing she will sing them over and over again. She will sing it to Taylor Swift songs. She will sing it to any song really. She has started singing Let it go...daddy! or Let it go...mommy! It's her way of saying stop and be quite. She really loves to say it when she has done something wrong. I'll hear a let it go sissy... She'll also say it when she wants us to stop singing or saying stuff. It's her ok I'm over this. Tonight she was coloring on our mirror (I know horrible mother) and my husband says, "E you need to stop doing that." She looks at him and sings, "Just Let it GOOO DADDY!" She will sing it when she is riding her bike in the living room too. But she'll add Speed Racer to it. All we hear is LET IT GO SPEED RACER...so days it's cute as hell but other days you pray she will find a new movie to watch. But you know what we wouldn't have her any other way. She is our world...Now just LET IT GO...LOL

Hockey

ELJT and the whole family went to hockey for her 1st time. I never thought she could listen as well as she did. Yes she did kick some poor guy in the head which was an accident but she had fun. We all did. The only time she really sat down was when the hockey team scored and everyone started yelling. Her dad's yell scared her the most well that and the buzzer. All she has said since we went to hockey is "More hockey??" She sits down and tells her dolls and her stuffie's about hockey. It is so cute. At the end of the game she had everyone around us saying "Let's go Mavericks!!" I really can't wait until we can take her, bubby, and sissy to another game. :-) I do want to thank Vet Tix for being great!!

sorry

Sorry I haven't posted in ELJT'S blog lately but we've been busy learning, spending time with daddy, and showing us how much of a toddler she really is. She got her 1st hair cut. She picked out a toy dragon and stood at the doorway waiting to be called back for her hair cut. When we made the appointment she was a little scared but once we found the dragon she was happy. I am pretty sure it she nervousness was from the little boy screaming in one of the cars not wanting to get his hair cut. I don't understand how that can be so upsetting. None of my kids had issues when they got their hair cut. Sure my older two got their hair cuts done by their dad but they didn't fuss. I have cut ELJT's hair a few times and no screaming, fussing or crying. They all knew that we were helping them see. Back to E....all she talked about at lunch was her hair cut so when we got back to the saloon she didn't want to wait. We had to hold her back a few times. But once the woman came and got her she acted like a champ. She only fussed once and that was when she got sprayed by water. She moved a little but it didn't faze the hair dresser. 😊

Amazing

It's amazing some of the stuff that ELJT says. Her sister and I were tickling her when she pulled up her shirt and said,"Look sissy my mole" Sissy replies, "Look at my birth mark sissy." ELJT looks and pulled up her shirt and says."Look sissy...E has dirt too..." her sister's birth mark is a beauty mark we start busting up. She looks at us and says, "me do yola (yoga) sissy." It was the funniest thing in the world. :-) She as been sleeping on our bed because she's been sick and her daddy is in the hospital. She tells me yesterday "No daddy sleep on your bed mommy. E's bed I sleep in daddy's spot." She is so cute. Nap time today she looks at the bed runs her brothers cat off cuddles up with her aunt's cat and says," No Sway sure with E. Share with cloe, cloe." Then she was sound asleep. She is such a pleasure to have.

Oy Vey

Oy Vey ELJT's life has been really busy. Her daddy was in a motorcycle accident a few weeks ago and we have been going back and forth to the burn unit at a hospital in KC MO. That is an hour drive each way two times sometimes more a week. KRS has been big help lately. Not only is he watching E but he's been helping his grandma with his grandpa cause grandpa got knee surgery almost 2 weeks ago. E is understanding that daddy got hurt so she's not being that rough with him. She misses playing with him like they use too. Her sister isn't around much which isn't helpful at all but whatever. E keeps telling people that her daddy got hurt but he's alright. 😊 She is a smart kiddo. She also tells her stuffies that daddy lost a shoe which he did. On a happier note she got her own little bike and she rides around saying "Speed Racer!"

Too smart for her own good

Here's a conversation I just had with my 2 year old. Me-"Hey give me my deodorant" ELJT hands it to me. Then she grabs my open one and looks at me. I say "Hey give me that one too." ELJT-"My baby armpit stinky." And she points to her baby dolls armpit. I swear she's too smart for her own good. Early I had to move my peppermint sticks cause she was putting it on her forehead...She knows that the peppermint is something I put on my forehead and in a few other places for my migraines I've used it on her a few times too. I'm surprised she didn't try to put it on her baby doll also. She is also fighting bedtime but that is normal for her.

The past few days

The past few days have been busy for our family. ELJT's daddy was in a motorcycle accident. We were following him so I saw it all but she was asleep. So between waiting at the ER, visiting him a few times, and him getting moved to a burn unit. She is not allowed to see him right now but she is singing to her new kitty that she got for being a good girl at the hospital. She also tells everyone that she sees that her daddy is alright. She asks about him day in and day out. She falls asleep on her daddy's pillow telling me that she loves her daddy and she's daddy's baby. Today she got to talk to him a few times. Every time I call she waits and when he answers she says I love too daddy. She's also texting him like crazy too. I can't wait until Monday and hopefully she can get a quick glance of him before he goes back to the OR. But until we get him home she will continue to text him, call him and have me send him pictures so he can see her. :-)

Bankie....

ELJT has a mommy blanket issue. If I get a new blanket or I just take one out of the closet she has to have it. I have a froggy blanket that ARNS (our oldest daughter) got me. I took it to Anchorage when I was admitted to a hospital there. It kept me warm for 3 weeks of bed rest. I had major health issues with ELJT. Back to the story...whole E is awake she has to have my blanket it doesn't matter if she just woke up. It has to be with her when she eats her pop tarts, it has to be on the floor when she watches TV or Netflix (yes I am a plop her down in front of the TV mom) she knows over 1500 words...thanks to her family and the TV, and if she gets put on time out the blanket has to be with her. She needs it most at nap or bedtime. She will have us put the blanket on the foot of our bed for nap time and she will lay on it. It doesn't matter how hot it is outside she has to have the blanket. She may move a million times but she always ends up on the blanket. Tonight instead of using the blanket that was in her bed she cried until her dad but mine in there with her. She did what any toddler does fusses, cries, talks, and plays before she fell asleep but she is still on my blanket...why am I telling you this? It's because I'm cold & can't seem to remember where I put my other blankets. Or as they are called here Bankie...

ELJT

ELJT is our toddler. She's a handful but we love her. She is our miracle baby. She's the last grandchild for my husbands parents and she seems to know that she has everyone wrapped around her little finger. This blog will introduce you to her. For those that know us and her we want to keep her name private. For those of you who don't you will know her as ELJT. There will be funny posts, ranting posts, and cute little says that you will find yourself saying. For now I'll leave you with her favorite thing to say. "No Mommy's baby..."
