Migraines

Last night I had to take ELJT to the ER for a migraine. It was her 1st time going in for one. I'm sure it will be the 1st of very many. She slept most of the time while we were there. They gave her 2 shots and some steroids. Right now she is resting in her room. We are hoping and praying that she out grows them. Not sure if they are going to get worse with her age but only time will tell.

Christmas

ELJT got more this year than in the past few years. We put stuff on layaway which was awesome. I was able to save money and surprise my husband with a drone that he was eyeing for a long time. The downside of the presents was the fact that they all make noise. And for those of you that know me and follow my migraine page than you know that noise kill my head. I have been able to deal with the noise but not sure for how long. So far her favorite is the Belle Tea Party Cart from Disney. We also bought her a Belle costume which she wore for most of Christmas. We got her a Torch Dragon which we had to return the 1st one because it stopped breathing fire. She got the Doc McStuffin's Care Cart or whatever it is called. It's a great toy too just really, really loud. She is enjoying all of her new toys. :-) So as far as this Christmas has gone she got a bunch of toys that I know she will play with for a long time. Oh I can't for get the Chef costume and waitress one that she got from her nanny. She loves them. They are from Melissa and Doug. (I think that's there name).

Our busy life

I haven't forgotten about my blogging. I've just been busy raising ELJT, fighting all of my illnesses, and watching yet another one of my kids finish high school. ELJT has been busy with growing, learning (second year of preschool), making friends & boyfriends (she's a heart breaker), tumbling, and helping her mommy. ELJT, her sister and I took a trip to Alaska this past summer. She did awesome at flying unlike her mommy. She met family and friends that she had not seen since she was a baby. She's had her 1st real overnight at a friends house, she's got an imagination that keeps us all on our toes. I'm hoping now that time is slowing down I can blog more about our rainbow baby. She really loves to light up our world. Oh and she did learn a few things in Alaska. Like "Snitches get stitches" and "Where are we going?" "Hell if we don't change our way"...(that one went over big with my pastor father in law...)

Daddy's baby?!

The past couple of days ELJT has been playing with her pawpaw and daddy. She asked pawpaw if he was having a baby. Pawpaw tells her no but her daddy is. So last night she yells at her daddy. "Hey bumble bee head...(its a new name she's calling everyone)you having a baby??" Her daddy wasn't paying attention so she let it drop. Today however she starts asking her daddy again."Hey daddy you have a baby?" He answers,"Yes can't you tell." So he moves his tummy to make it look like the baby is moving. She goes "Wow daddy you have a lot of babies." He goes,"Yep." She continues to play with her daddy and his tummy. Jumping on it, smacking it and hitting her head on it. He of course is groaning cause it hurts. I'm laughing cause it's funny. When he goes,"You'd better stop cause you are going to give them brain damage." ELJT looks up and says,"Are they aliens?" I start looking at him and I tell him great now every time she sees people she's going to tell them that her daddy's having a baby and point at his big belly....Hopefully she'll forget in a few days but we swear she's an elephant.

Paging Doc McELJT

Paging Doc McELJT....Paging Doc McELJT please report to mommy's room sissy needs a check up...ARNS stayed home today thanks to a fever and her throat hurting. So after lunch ELJT started playing with sissy telling her to open her mouth and she would look in it for frogs. She stuck one of her tractor trailers and stuck it in there and said no frogs sissy. A minute later she looks in sissy's ear and says eww buggies!! Tried to stick the trailer in her ear and pull it out once she did that she went to the trash can and said eww buggies in the trash. ELJT also tried to pick ARNS's nose. After all of that she told sissy that she needed to brush her teeth. To finish the check up she made sissy Coke and a hamburger. She is such a good doctor. She takes care of me when I am down with a migraine too.

Let it Go...

So like any toddler or preschooler E has fallen in love with watching the same movies over and over again. As you can tell by the title of this post she loves Frozen. Well that's one of the movies she loves. She loves all the How to Train your Dragon movies also. But because Frozen has songs she can sing she will sing them over and over again. She will sing it to Taylor Swift songs. She will sing it to any song really. She has started singing Let it go...daddy! or Let it go...mommy! It's her way of saying stop and be quite. She really loves to say it when she has done something wrong. I'll hear a let it go sissy... She'll also say it when she wants us to stop singing or saying stuff. It's her ok I'm over this. Tonight she was coloring on our mirror (I know horrible mother) and my husband says, "E you need to stop doing that." She looks at him and sings, "Just Let it GOOO DADDY!" She will sing it when she is riding her bike in the living room too. But she'll add Speed Racer to it. All we hear is LET IT GO SPEED RACER...so days it's cute as hell but other days you pray she will find a new movie to watch. But you know what we wouldn't have her any other way. She is our world...Now just LET IT GO...LOL

Hockey

ELJT and the whole family went to hockey for her 1st time. I never thought she could listen as well as she did. Yes she did kick some poor guy in the head which was an accident but she had fun. We all did. The only time she really sat down was when the hockey team scored and everyone started yelling. Her dad's yell scared her the most well that and the buzzer. All she has said since we went to hockey is "More hockey??" She sits down and tells her dolls and her stuffie's about hockey. It is so cute. At the end of the game she had everyone around us saying "Let's go Mavericks!!" I really can't wait until we can take her, bubby, and sissy to another game. :-) I do want to thank Vet Tix for being great!!
